The product is advertised to be super absorbent and last long but it's just as absorbent and long-lasting as any other option out there. That being said, the quality is good and it does it's job but there are definitely better options for guinea pig litter out there. I noticed another review mentioned it's great for hamsters digging tunnels so it's possible this litter is a good match for burrowing rodents but not such a good one for guinea pigs.
